Podcast: more jelly fun
I waited til I could secure the dulcet tones of Tully before recording this episode. Essentially it’s just an announcement about our upcoming expedition to the jelly wrestling (for the second time) which Lisa had planned in order to subvert the patriarchal paradigms etcetera. But an amusing debate emerges in the comments between Tully and someone called Georgia, who I don’t think I ever met, about “Female Chauvinist Pigs” and the rise of “Raunch Culture” … the nature of the male (and female) gaze and the politics of it all. An example of the blog operating as a forum for others to bash out some issues without my needing to be the dominant author.
